On Saturday, August 29, 2009, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 36th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards at a grand gala in the California Ballroom of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Some of these categories are kind of dry, but without them, our shows would not air every day.

Last night, was very balmy in Los Angeles, not to mention a typically heavy trafficThursday evening rush hour.
