Sean Kanan (Deacon, The Young and the Restless) has just tweeted that he will come to your house and cook you dinner!  But there 's a catch.  Here's the deal:  "Once I hit 100k Tweeps I will randomly pick a winner,fly to your house & cook u and 7 friends dinner!"  Cool, right?  But he's got a way to go. Right now he has over 5,500 Twitter followers.  So get busy, guys. Help Kanan reach 100,000 tweeps and you could be the winner of his home cooked dinner! And don't forget. The Young and the Restless Sean Kanan (Deacon) appears on Fox 5 San Diego Morning News on Friday, January 27 where he'll be making one of his reciipes from his super duper guys guide to romance and entertaining, "The Modern Gentleman:  Cooking & Entertaining with Sean Kanan."  Then, on Saturday, all you Orange County housewives get your husbands over to South Coast Plaza to meet Kanan.  For more info, check Soapdom's Seeing Stars calendar.

Days of our Lives' Lisa Rinna (Billie) may soon be looking for a 12-step program.  She's become addicted to Twitter.  "I have been such a twitteraholic these past few days? What's up with me?!" she just tweeted.  Wonder if there's a Betty Ford clinic for Tweeters?

While in more Days of our Lives' news, Shawn Christian (Daniel) just tweeted that he's returning to Salem.  A show spokesperson confirmed that he will be back on air February 27.

Soap Opera Buzz for January 1, 2012

Soap Classics President Mark Yates has confirmed that the company will release its first set of Guiding Light classic episodes in mid January of 2012. The set will be similar to the company's blockbuster release of As the World Turn episodes. It will contain 20 handpicked episodes, divided into four categories: Great Weddings, Secrets and Scandals, Villains and Vixens, and Springfield Through the Years.

Included in the set will be such all-time favorites as "Quint and Nola's Wedding" and "Roger Thorpe's Demise."  The set will include appearances by such stars as Reva Shane, Clarita Bauer, Don Stewart and many others. Stay tuned for additional news about the collection and its contents, coming soon.
