Little Abby Deveraux has grown up! Jillian Clare (ex Abby, Days of our Lives) takes on not only the starring role, but is co-executive producing the soon to be produced web series Miss Behave. After nearly a year of economy related postponements, Miss Behave is set to begin first season principal photography mid-January 2010. A unique concept in online programming, Miss Behave is ready to take internet viewing habits globally with unlimited 24-hour a day access to the newest teen drama and social network. Unlike other shows dealing with stereotypical teenage issues, Miss Behave has no boundaries and will draw viewers into the lives of the misbehaved Malibu characters via the interactive community specifically designed for the new web series with message boards, chat rooms, fashion and style blogs, plus weekly video blogs. Says creator/executive producer Susan Bernhardt, “Miss Behave is all about real teens, with everyday issues. Yes, some of the characters come from an affluent background, but most don't, and our mix of talented, young actors will show a global internet audience what can happen when lies become the root of life-long friendships, and how bad decisions can affect relationships and change lives.” Along with Clare, the cast of Miss Behave includes to date Marco James, Brett DelBuono (A&E's The Cleaner), and Jenna Stone. Principal casting is still underway. http://www.missbehave.tv

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of hanging out at the set of Days of our Lives (along with a few other journalists) . Here I am at the Brady Pub with Molly Burnett (Melanie) who is absolutely delightful and soooo cute and Casey Deidrick (Chad), who, by the way, is six feet, five inches tall! While on the set, we met Mary Cares, Property Master for Days of our Lives. She's the one who makes sure all the props are in their right places for the scenes. She pointed out that if we looked around, we'd spot a bunch of small boxes placed strategically throughout some of the sets. These boxes always show up in sets where Kristian Alfonso (Hope) is working. Why? Because Alfonso LOVES chocolate. And not just your average, run of the mill chocolate, either. I am talking the expensive, high-end kind. Ms.Cares uses the boxes to hide pieces of chocolate for Alfonso to find during taping. Cares says it's always so much fun to try to stump Alfonso. But the die-hard chocoholic succeeds in finding the stash every time!
Susan Lucci (Erica, All My Children) is the Grand Marshal at this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade/Live Positively Sponsored by Coca-Cola. "I am thrilled and honored to serve as the Grand Marshal of the 2009 Hollywood Christmas Parade," said Lucci. "I am so happy that this year's parade will be telecast for the first time ever as a two-hour primetime television event, spreading holiday cheer and happiness to Americans across the country. The Hollywood Christmas Parade is for children and families, both of whom are very important to me in my personal life. Soon ALL MY CHILDREN will be relocating from New York to Los Angeles in January 2010 where the show will be filmed in the years ahead. I'm looking forward to working in Los Angeles and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather in the Southland." The parade takes place on Nov. 29 in Hollywood and will be taped for broadcast on Dec. 10 and Dec. 24 on MyNetworkTV. Check local listings.
It's time for a little R&R for One Life to Live's Ilene Kristen (Roxy). She was just down in Florida visiting family and friends, and now she's heading off to Europe -- Rome and Amsterdam to be precise. Bon voyage, Ilene. Have a great time abroad, but we'll be missing you in Llanview. See you back there soon.

Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther) and other celebs packed the red carpet at Total Woman Gym & Day Spa’s 44th Anniversary Party in Woodland Hills, California a few days ago. Here we see Linder flanked by America's Top Model contestant, Giselle Samson, and McKenzie Westmore (ex Dr. Sinclair, All My Children; ex Sheridan, Passions).

Could super film star James Franco remain on General Hospital for more than just the initial two months? Soapdom has heard that things are going so well on the set with Franco as the mystery man, the powers that be at GH may be asking him to stick around longer than his original two-month stint. Time will tell.
Crystall Chappell (Carly, Days of our Lives) shared a big secret with Soapdom. Laurence Alamain, her "husband" on the show (played by real life husband, Michael Sabatino) may have been murdered, but it's not the last we'll be seeing of him on air. Today we saw her have a vision of him choaking her through the cell bars. We get the feeling he'll be popping up again and again. Stay tuned.

All My Children's Levin Rambin (ex Lily) has landed a recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. She recently shot her scenes. Watch for her episodes to start airing soon. We'll be back with the official airdate. We are very excited to hear about this, as we've missed seeing Rambin on air. Congratulations to Rambin. Soapdom's Linda Marshall-Smith for one can't wait to tune in!

Hey everybody. Ellen Degeneres may be stoked because she is about to appear in the December issue of O Magazine, but Ellen's got nothing on your very own QueenRuler, none other than Soapdom's Linda Marshall-Smith, who appears on page 141 of November's RedBook Magazine, on sale at newsstands now. In the magazine, Marshall-Smith tells one of her "red-in-the-face" stories which are always good for a laugh. In this particular tale, Marshall-Smith misses meeting the tall, dark, handsome guy of her dreams as sirens wail and emergency buzzers scare the bejeesus out of everyone in earshot. Check out the story in RedBook this month on page 141.
Starting on November 2nd, Soap Star week kicks off on the new nationally syndicated "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" General Hospital’s and the Bold and the Beautiful's Sarah Brown, General Hospital's Tyler Christopher, Days of our Lives’ Bryan Dattilo, Desperate Housewives’ and One Life to Live's Tuc Watkins, and former soap star Gloria Loring (Days of Our Lives) play the game for charity. Check your local listings for exact air time. Speaking of One Life to Live, check out this in depth interview with Terrell Tilford (Dr. Greg).
In more One Life news, from Llanview to Superman to Chuck, Brandon Routh (ex Seth, OLTL) is set to star on several episodes of NBC's Chuck when the show returns to the air. He plays a bad boy gone good and from what I hear, is after Chuck's handler -- and love interest -- Sarah. Routh's character's name is Shaw and he is a mysterious new spy who takes control as the new leader of Operation Bartwoski, becoming a mentor to Chuck and a rival in his affections for Sarah. Routh first appears in this season’s fourth episode. Soapdom thinks this couldn't be better casting. Who better to teach Chuck how to use his powers than Superman!
Could Cady McClain (Rosanna, ATWT, ex Dixie, AMC) be on her way back to All My Children? That's what some soap pundits are speculating, now that her run on As the World Turns is coming to an end. We all know that Dixie died, thanks to that infamous batch of poison pancakes, but she has been seen back in Pine Valley in a ghostly state. Could her ghost return again? Or -- and this could be a stretch -- yeah right -- there is always the evil twin angle. Like we always say at www.Soapdom.com, where's that evil twin when you need one? Time will tell.
In more AMC news, it looks like Eden Reigel will not be reprising her role as Bianca once All My Children relocates to Los Angeles, where Reigel is currently based. Apparently, they tried to work out a deal, but Reigel tweeted that the twains did not meet. But as we also say around Soapdom, never say never. Stay tuned.
