Get this! The Bold and the Beautiful's Ronn Moss (Ridge) is a contestant in the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars called "Ballando con le Stelle." In the first episode, a dapper Moss, dressed to the nines in a tux, wowed audiences with the Quick Step. In fact, he achieved the highest audience numbers of the show with a peak of 7.3 million viewers. (36.54% market share. The show began with a 32.19% market share with 6.2 million viewers.) In the end, Moss was tied with three other competitors for 7th place after the technical jury's scores were tabulated, and was not in the bottom four. After the final audience voting tabulations were combined with the jury scores, Moss was not eliminated. He did not achieve immunity. Moss has largely been the main focus of the reality show's media campaign, and has graced several covers, including GENTE (the first time ever that a B&B actor has graced the cover of this magazine). The magazine Gioia covered Ronn Moss with a four page feature, and this is the first time ever that this magazine has covered an actor from B&B. For the next few weeks, Moss will be one busy soap star. He will commute back and forth from Rome, Italy, where "Ballando" is broadcast live every Saturday evening, to Los Angeles, California, from now until the end of March, in order to continue taping episodes of "The Bold and the Beautiful." Here is a fun behind the scenes video of Moss on "Ballando." But be advised -- it's all in Italian. Even Moss' comments are dubbed in Italian!

Soapdom has just learned that the reading of Agatha Christie's "The Unexpected Guest" at The Writer's Guild Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA on February 20 and 21 for Soap Fan Mystery Theatre is being dedicated to the memory of James Mitchell (Palmer, All MY Children) who passed away Friday in Los Angeles. According to co-producer, Mark Rozzano, Mitchell "was a good friend and part of my 'family.' He's actually how I met (co-producer) Jacob (Young) in the first place. It's a difficult loss for all of us who were close to him, so it's been a sad weekend. Jacob and I are dedicating the production of 'The Unexpected Guest' to the memory of our friend, James Mitchell." Soapdom sends our deepest sympathies to Mitchell's friends, family, and co-stars. They continue to be in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

McKenzie Westmore (ex Sheridan, Passions) tweeted a home remedy tip for hair care today, Westmore said that "a great way to brighten color on untreated hair is tea or coffee! For a rich dark add, make drip coffee or a dark tea, let cool. While cooling, shampoo and condition and rinse ur hair -- with either the coffee or dark tea. Rinse it thru ur hair from root to end. Wait about a minute then rinse fully. For blondes use
camille tea or one of the lighter herbal teas. This all sounds crazy but I tried it and it worked!" Thanks for the tip, Mac!January 22, 2010

All My Fashion! -- Photographer David Drebin captures Susan Lucci, Rebecca Budig, Cameron Mathison and Denise Vasi on the brand new Los Angeles set of the award-winning daytime drama, All My Children. The whole scoop: When the groundbreaking soap opera All My Children moved to LA on the eve of its 40th anniversary, Los Angeles magazine--itself celebrating its 50 years as the city’s premier magazine--got out the cameras. To mark this historic move--no soap opera has ever before moved its cast and production across the country--Los Angeles magazine set up a fashion shoot using top designer clothing on All My Children cast members Susan Lucci (Erica), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and former fashion model, Denise Vasi (Randi). Photographer David Drebin captured the top daytime drama stars in make-believe moments behind the scenes on the set: Susan Lucci practicing her scene alone by an exit sign; Rebecca Budig studying her lines from a script; Denise Vasi waiting for her cue; and Cameron Mathison preparing for a makeout session with Lucci. “It was a dream come true,” says Laurie Pike, Style Editor for Los Angeles magazine and a lifelong All My Children fan, “to mix spring’s hottest fashion with actors who are lusted over every weekday on television.” All My Children cast members model in Los Angeles magazine’s 8-page fashion shoot for the March 2010 issue. Be sure to check it out!

Congrats to General Hospital's Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) who is again expecting! No word yet on whether they will write the pregnancy into her storyline, or if she'll be hiding behind large plants and fluffy pillows. Stay tuned.
Speaking of General Hospital stars and babies, congrats also go out to Greg Vaughan (ex Lucky) who is the proud father of Cavan Thomas Vaughan. Turns out that baby Cavan was born with the same stats as his big brother, Jathan James. They were both 7 lbs 15 oz - 20 in long.
Word on the street is that All My Children's Rebecca Budig and hubby, ABC Goldin Boy and ex "The Bachelor," Bob Guiney, have split. Although the network is remaining mum ("We don't comment on our actors' personal lives"), People.com has reported that the two have definitely parted ways. If it's true, does that mean that Guiney will still be hosting Rock the Soap cruise? Time will tell.
One Life to Live fans be prepared to be missing Viki for a few weeks.
