Congratulations are in order! The Young and the Restless' Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) is the proud mother of a bouncing baby girl! Yup, Natalia Scott Lee Stafford was welcomed into the world on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11:23 PM. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces. "She is healthy, gorgeous, and amazing," Stafford's rep told People Magazine and then www.Soapdom.com. "Michelle is out of her mind happy." Why wouldn't she be? She's been on a three-year quest to start a family, and now her biggest wish has finally come true. But you're absolutely correct. There was no baby storyline written into Y&R. You didn't see Stafford hiding a bulging baby bump with pillows, brief cases, or plants. That's because baby was born via surrogate. As previously reported at www.Soapdom.com, Stafford announced last September that her decision to turn to a surrogate had been successful and that she was, indeed, expecting her first child. Not to have her baby join the world unequipped, Stafford celebrated the impending arrival with a whimsical baby shower late last month which was attended by her closest friends. Soapdom couldn't be more delighted for Stafford and little Natalia. Blessings around and a super big congratulations.

Congratulations are in order for the Bold and the Beautiful's Hunter Tylo (Taylor) who wed beau Gersson Archila in a private ceremony attended by family and friends. “Gersson and I were married on November 29,” said Tylo. “God has blessed me in the most special of ways. God has redeemed my life and future. My season of sadness has ended. We are a very happy family. I welcome your blessings and well wishes." As “Dr. Taylor Hayes”, a psychiatrist whose life has been intertwined with the lives and loves of the Forrester and Marone families, Tylo debuted on the series in 1990 and remained as a series regular through 2002. Tylo returned to B&B in 2004 for a two-episode arc, and then returned once again as a series regular beginning in May 2005. She made her television debut in 1985 as “Robin McCall” on All My Children. In 1987, Tylo joined Days of Our Lives as the wicked “Marina Toscano.” When she joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in 1990, Tylo garnered the distinction of having played major roles on daytime dramas on all three major television networks. Her other credits include Dallas, The Family Channel’s Zorro, Diagnosis Murder, Burke’s Law, and the made-for-television movies License to Kill and SciFi Channel’s Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy. Tylo is widely considered one of the most beautiful women on television. She has been featured on the cover of TV Guide as one of the sexiest women in daytime and in People Magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful People’ issue twice, in 1993 and 1998. Also successful in commercial work, Tylo has represented such companies as Canada Dry, Nissan, Naturalizer, Cover Girl and Pantene. In 2001, Tylo wrote and published her autobiography, “Making a Miracle.” Tylo has three children; Chris, Izabella and Katya. Her son, Michael Tylo, Jr. (Mickey) tragically died in 2007 at age 19, when he drowned due to a seizure disorder. Through her own personal difficulties Tylo has found a way to help others. She is on the Board of Directors of Retinoblastoma International and is a spokesperson for The American Epilepsy Outreach Foundation. She also heads up her own charity, "Hunter's Chosen Child." This is a really fun and candid interview captured by Soapdom's friend and colleague, Michael Logan. Enjoy! Contributed by CL & LMS
