Congratulations to the Bold and the Beautiful. The hot soap opera about the inner workings of the Los Angeles fashion world is coming up on a milestone. B&B will air its 6000th episode on February 7th. That's one heck of a lot of love, lust, intrigue and mayhem. Soapdom congratulates Bold and the Beautiful. Stay tuned for more info on this monumental milestone.
Los Angeles area General Hospital fans, we have some disappointing news. The encore episode set to air today has been pre-empted due to KABC News coverage of a policeman being shot near El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills. In this episode, Sonny dumps Lily to have a date with Brenda. It is unknown at this time if ABC in LA will air the encore episode today. Thankfully, the police officer was wearing a protective vest and although he was shot at point blank range, he has survived.

The next season of Celebrity Apprentice has announced its list of has-beens, er celebrities. You will recognize one especially from soapdom. The women include: Hope Dworaczyk, La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, NeNe Leakes, Marlee Matlin, Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor and Dionne Warwick. The men include: Gary Busey, Jose Canseco, David Cassidy, Richard Hatch, Lil Jon, Meat Loaf, Mark McGrath and John Rich. Can you pick out the former soap star? Yup. It is Lisa Rinna, who stared as Billie on Days of our Lives, then co-hosted the Daytime Emmy nominated Soap Talk with Ty Treadway on SOAPNet. She does have a fair amount of business experience. Along with her husband, Harry Hamlin, she owns the Belle Gray dress shop in Sherman Oaks, CA, just outside of Los Angeles.
