Passions awarded, OLTL gets new writing team, & more

Dear Suds Buds:

There is a real hint of fall in the air here in sunny southern California.  Are you getting ready for Halloween?  Around these parts, homeowners deck their houses to the nines with hobgoblins, pumpkins, scarecrows, witches, spider webs, jack-o-lanterns and all sorts of eerie accouterment.  It's as if Halloween is becoming as commercialized as Christmas!  Soon we will be decorating the Halloween tree or bush.  One thing's for sure. It makes for a very festive neighborhood. Even our offices are decked out!

Which leads me to ponder what the soaps have in store for us over the next few weeks. Passions and Port Charles ought to take full advantage of the all hollows season to capitalize on their "other worldly" plot themes.  Some soaps are previewing disasters in the town, or hardship to the denizens.  Hope everyone survives unscathed!  We will just have to tune in and see.  Muahahahahahaha!

In the meantime, let's get to the latest in soaps…
