On April 14, ABC Daytime launched it's third original fragrance, "Charm! All My Children," based on the book "Charm," written by the AMC character of Kendall Hart (Alicia Minshew.) ABC/Disney sent Soapdom a sample of the fragrance. It's a bit too flowery and sweet for me, but it's light and airy as well. According to ABC, the fragrance is a captivating sugar floral scent, including an enchanting mix of Bergamont, Black Currant, Grapefruit, Star Orchid and Sugar Cane. Additionally, on each bottle is a limited edition Swarvoski Crystal Moon Charm that can be added to a pendant or charm bracelet. The scent is available as fragrance, body splash, body lotion and shimmer powder puff. Charm! All My Children was exclusively developed for ABC by Cosmetic Specialties, East, Inc. The Young and the Restless' Amelia Heinle (Victoria) and Thad Luckinbill (JT) are Ambassadors for the 2008 March for Babies (formerly Walk America) Campaign. March for Babies supports the mission of the March of Dimes which is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Now that Days of our Lives Jason Cook (ex Shawn) will be reunited with former love interest Kirsten Storms (ex Belle, DOOL; Maxie, GH) on General Hospital, could there be any truth to the rumor that Beth Ehlers (Harley, GL) could be following in the footsteps of her former love interest, Ricky Paull Goldin (ex Gus, GL; Jake, All My Children)? When questioned about the possibility by the NY Daily News, Goldin replied: "Beth is going to have no shortage of places she can go. Sometimes you've got to take a couple of punches before you wake up." Apparently, Goldin is very happy with his new gig on AMC. "...there's a beautiful sense of professionalism over here, Goldin shared. "The production quality is really high. They want to make every scene beautiful. Besides their Steadicams and their lighting, the sets are pretty extravagant. It feels like a fantasy." Although he did not come right out and say it, it would appear that part of his reason for leaving Guiding Light was that he did not agree with the new production direction the show was taking. Keeping it in the ABC family. One Life to Live's Nathan Fillion (ex Joey Buchanan)is in negotiations for the lead in an ABC pilot presentation called, "Castle." From ABC Studios, "Castle" is a comedic procedural about a famous mystery novelist (Fillion) helping the NYPD solve crimes. Fillion also recurs on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and recently wrapped the feature "Chilled in Miami." Contributed by LMS

Young and the Restless gets Hiltonized! Paris Hilton’s real-life mom, Kathy Hilton, is set to play herself on May 13. According to our sources, Hilton will find a magazine cover model for her friend Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Who knew Jack Abbott had such interesting LA gal pals? In the story, Jack best watch out as Hilton takes over the photo shoot, infuriating magazine staffers. No stranger to television, Hilton starred in her own NBC reality show in 2005, “I Want to Be a Hilton,” where contestants competed for a chance to live like a socialite for a year. It ran one season. Matthew Florida (ex-Ford Decker of Days of our Lives) wants Buzz to know that he just booked a series regular role on a webisode hosted by www.cinsay.com called "Dan's Detour of Life." "the show is written/produced/directed by the writers of 'That 70's Show,' so it's pretty funny and everything's very well organized to say the least," revealed Florida. "Very much like my role of Brad Ecker on 'Ghost Whisperer' (relating to DOOL''s Ford Decker), this role and project also has many similarities to 'Days.' My character's name is J.P. Ford , and the acronym for the show is, if you pay close attention DOOL...how crazy is that? In some "Where are they Now?" Buzz, Jensen Ackles, who soap fans will remember from his role as Eric Brady on Days of our Lives (1997-2000) and current star of The CW's Supernatural, has just been tapped to star in the feature film, "My Bloody Valentine 3-D." Days of our Lives' Nadia Bjorlin (Chole) has released a 4 song EP along with her brothers Ulf and Jean Paul Bjorlin, titled The Bjorlin Trio. “The music is best described as classical crossover, in the likes of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.” “We recorded these four songs because of the beautiful three part harmonies and of course it is accompanied by my brother Jean Paul on piano.” explains the actress. The trio has been performing together since they were 5 and 6 years old all over Sweden, Europe and the States where they have all grown up. As they grew older, they went their separate ways with their individual professions. Nadia pursued acting in Hollywood, and in 1999 landed the long exhausted search for the character of Chloe Lane which she has portrayed on and off since that time. In between those stints on “Days of our Lives”, she starred in the 2007 feature film, Redline and has guest starred in such TV series as “Jake In Progress”, “Sex, Love & Secrets”, “Out of Practice” and “Complete Savages”. Ulf is an accomplished musician in his own right and was named after their late father, Ulf Bjorlin, Sr., a world famous composer and conductor. Ulf has also followed in his sister’s footsteps in acting, co-starring in several films and TV projects. Jean Paul is a recent graduate of Juilliard with a Masters Degree in Piano and currently sings in various New York City opera companies. Last year the three siblings – Nadia, Ulf and Jean Paul decided to reunite and reignite their passion for the music that their father had so inspired them to love and they recorded several tracks together for fun. The magic of the trio was there and ultimately the EP was born and of course they were encouraged to pursue this by their mother, Fary, and their three other siblings – Katja, Kaj and Kamilla. The tracks on The Bjorlin Trio EP include “Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)”, “Dream A Dream (Pavane)”, “The Prayer” and “Cinema Paradiso.” The tracks were recorded at the famous Capitol Studios in Hollywood with two-time Grammy-Award winning producer, Rob Christie. The 4 song EP is available NOW on iTunes, emusic and Amazon.com and wherever digital downloads are sold. The trio will be back in the studios in the next few weeks recording more songs to complete their forthcoming full-length CD to be released later this year.
