On Wednesday, September 10, 2003, Peter Cincotti appeared as himself on The Young and the Restless and sang a song from his newly released CD.
If you are not familiar, Cincotti is a 20-year-old phenomenon! He is a jazz singer, songwriter and pianist whose debut, self-titled album has been receiving wide critical acclaim from publications such as the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Newsweek, USA Today, LA Times and more. He has also made appearances on The Today Show, Conan O'Brien, & Craig Kilborn.
The Hollywood Reporter had this to say about him: "Peter Cincotti is a star in the making. He's got it all - good looks and charisma, a highly pleasing smooth baritone voice, excellent jazz piano chops and superb musical taste."
The song he performs on Y&R is called "Rainbow Connection" and it's from his debut album.
