Michael Woods Recurs as Dr. Ackland on Passions
Daytime drama veteran Michael Woods joins the cast of Passions in the recurring role of Dr. Ackland, it was announced by Executive Producer Lisa de Cazotte.
Passions Creator and Head Writer James E. Reilly previews, "Dr. Ackland, the famous new director of Psychiatry at the Harmony Hospital has dealt with many odd and bizarre cases in his medical career; his newest case involves the strangest person he's met in his life... but it's not his patient.”
Woods portrayed Dr. James Reardon on Guiding Light from 1983 to 1985; Mark Wheeler on Texas in 1982; and, was the original Kent Bogard opposite Susan Lucci (mother of Passions’ Liza Huber) on All My Children from 1981 to 1982. He was also a contract player on As the World Turns. His other credits include Capitol News, Private Eye, Our Family Honor and Nightman.
Woods will first be seen as Dr. Ackland on Passions on December 22, 2003.
