The New Kid in Town
Lorenzo Lamas, best known for his role on the CBS's primetime series "Falcon Crest," joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful on Wednesday, Feb. 18 (1:30-2:00 PM, ET; 12:30-1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Lamas comes on to the canvas as Hector Ramirez, a Los Angeles firefighter who is father to Caitlyn Ross (Kayla Ewell), a new intern at Forrester Creations. Ramirez's connection to the long-running characters on the show will be revealed in the coming months.
The son of actors Fernando Lamas and Arlene Dahl, Lamas began his career in the 70's with small roles in TV and films, and had his big break in the movie "Grease." His role as Lance Cumson on "Falcon Crest" throughout the show's entire run (1981-1990) earned him international fame. From 1992-1997, he starred in the syndicated series "Renegade," followed by "Air America" and "The Immortal." Most recently, he appeared as a celebrity judge on the reality show "Are You Hot? The Search For America's Sexiest People."
