Robin Strasser (Dorian, OLTL)Though it's been more than four years since members of ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live" cast first banded together, lifting their voices in song to create a compilation CD to benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina, their voices are still being heard through the gift of music.

With a mission to "recover through the arts," the One Life, Many Voices Foundation has announced plans to donate three upright pianos to students in southern Mississippi, as well as a grand piano to a theater company in New Orleans.

Beginning the first week of March, upright Yamaha pianos will be delivered in Mississippi to West Marion Primary School in Foxworth, Bay High School in Bay St. Louis and the Boys and Girls Club in Pass Christian. A very special grand piano, purchased in the memory of Phil Carey, who played OLTL's Asa Buchanan from 1979 to 2007, will also be given to the Le Petit Theatre in New Orleans.

Since the original "One Life, Many Voices" CD was made available, the non-profit group has funded more than 50 music scholarships for junior high and high school students to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), mailed out 1,000 baroque wooden recorders to elementary schools, and donated two additional upright pianos.

The group's CDs are no longer being distributed through regular sales channels, but they maintain "a commitment to help and support in any way we can," according to Robin Strasser (OLTL's Dorian Lord), producer and project coordinator.

"With an official letter establishing the not-for-profit status of a religious group, school, service organization or other 501(c)(3) organization, 'One Life, Many Voices' will be proud to supply CDs, free of charge, to use as fundraisers for local efforts," she added.

Days of our Lives Robert Scott Wilson says playing Ben is a blast

Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Rodgers, Days of our Lives), has a plan in motion, and that is, he hopes to stay in Salem and continue in the role that he loves.

"Without out a doubt, I want to be around. I'm having a blast playing him," Wilson said. "The character of Ben has a lot to offer. I trust the writers' who are doing a fantastic job. I love being able to take Ben in different directions. There is more to him than tending bar, or meets the eye."
