Snoop DoggMulti-talented entertainer and Hip-Hop pioneer, Snoop Dogg, wrote the words "all that I have is ‘One Life to Live'" when he put his own spin on the theme song for his May 8-9, 2008 appearance on ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live." Snoop Dogg's remixed theme will once again air when he returns to Llanview for his second visit on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. The pop icon reached out to "One Life to Live" to once again play himself and perform on the show (taped Thursday, December 10th in the show's New York City based studio). Snoop Dogg will perform "I Wanna Rock" from his new album "Malice N Wonderland" released December 8, 2009 on EMI's newly re-launched Priority Records, where he also serves as Creative Chairman.

After Mary J. Blige made her second appearance on OLTL in February 2008, longtime fan Snoop Dogg let it be known that he was interested in redoing the theme song. Not only did he remix the theme for the two episodes on which he appeared, but he performed two songs as well as acted on the show. For his upcoming return, he will once again act in scenes with Bo Buchanan (Robert S. Woods) and will also be joined by Nora and Matthew Buchanan (Hillary B. Smith and Eddie Alderson). After spending time with his friend Bo and his family, Snoop Dogg will head to Capricorn for his return engagement in Llanview.

"Snoop Dogg's desire to return to "One Life to Live" is a tremendous show of support for our show," said executive producer Frank Valentini. "His unique contributions to the entertainment industry are vast as a performer, innovator and businessman and we are honored to have him back to perform and act on OLTL. We also welcome the opportunity to once again air his remixed theme song."

"As I said when I was here last time, I've been a fan of ‘One Life to Live' since I was a baby because my momma always had it on," said Snoop Dogg. "It's cool to come back and hang with Bo Buchanan and the people in Llanview and ‘rock out with them.'"

"Malice N Wonderland" is the tenth studio album for Snoop Dogg. Producers who collaborated on "Malice N Wonderland" include hitmakers Teddy Riley, Pharrell, Lil Jon, among others along with guest appearances by artists such as R Kelly, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan and Soulja Boy. "Gangsta Luv" was the first single released from "Malice N Wonderland" and will be followed up by "I Wanna Rock," a re-working of the classic Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's "It Takes Two" produced by Scoop Deville. The accompanying video, directed by Eric Peyton, features guest appearances by Jamie Foxx and showcases incredible dance sequences from MTV's 2009 America's Best Dance Crew winners, Quest Crew, Power Rangers and the Snoopettes.

"One Life to Live" sells music and the show has turned into a popular destination for an impressive list of music super stars in addition to Snoop Dogg that includes most recently the All-American Rejects on December 4 and 7. The roster also includes Lionel Richie with Jeremih, Frankie Negron, The Pussycat Dolls, Rachael Yamagata, two appearances by Mary J. Blige, Timbaland with Keri Hilson and One Republic, Nelly Furtado, Jeannie Ortega, Lifehouse, Simply Red, Chris Botti and Erykah Badu. In one afternoon on ABC, a music act will gain broader reach than they would on any radio station in the country. Labels have realized that ABC Daytime provides an efficient way to reach our highly engaged audience of women 18-49. For the artists, an appearance on ABC Daytime affords exposure to a new audience or it can reinforce their music to their existing audience.

Oh and in case you forgot, Emmy Award-winning "One Life to Live," created by Agnes Nixon, was launched July 15, 1968. Frank Valentini executive-produces. Ron Carlivati is the headwriter. Paul Glass is the supervising music director. Directed by Danielle Faraldo. The popular drama consistently ranks among the top five in the key demographic of Women 18-49. "One Life to Live" airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (2:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
