The Online Network announced today that actor and Ford model, Robert Scott Wilson, will join the cast of the beloved serial drama All My Children, set to debut later this spring.

Wilson, a Boston native who made history in 2012 by winning The Price is Right's first-ever male model search, will join the series as Pete Cortlandt, Opal Cortlandt's youngest son.

All My Children is not Wilson's first acting role. He has appeared in the feature films "Bride Wars," "Surrogates," "Friends With Benefits" and "The Social Network" and has co-starred in television series including "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "The Middle."

In addition, he has guest-starred as Colin Kirk in "Supah Ninjas," and appeared in episodes of "Entourage," "Melissa and Joey," "Greek," "Suite Life: On Deck" and "Make It or Break It."

Wilson has been seen in numerous ad campaigns, as well as in music videos for Victoria Justice, Manika, Toni Braxton and David Guetta, featuring Fergie, and Prospect Park's The Online Network is excited to bring him aboard AMC.

So, does this mean that All My Children is witnessing an instance of SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome)? SORAS comes into play when the story telling embarks on more mature focus for the younger characters. When we last saw Petey, he was a teenager. Now, it appears he's a young man. Does that mean that a few young hearts will be broken by his devilish good looks and six-pack abs?

We'll all have to tune in and see!

Days of our Lives Guy Wilson excited to be part of the 50th

Guy Wilson (Will, Days of our Lives) said the upcoming 50th anniversary in November is something that is incredible in the industry, and that he is so proud to be able to say that he is part of the canvas.

"Oh without a doubt! You know shows come and go, but to be here for 50 years? You know something is right!" Wilson said. "For me personally, this is a great career opportunity and to be able to work with some of the greatest actors. And what a thrill to be on something with such staying power. I'm excited."

Wilson added that he was thrilled to see many longtime veteran actors' returning to the show for the 50th anniversary and said that seeing them and working with them has been an amazing experience. "It will be big!"
