Will Jason find his way back to Sam?
I know this sounds bad, but I really hope not. I know many people want Jason to remember his love for Sam, not to mention the life they shared. But for me, it just doesn't work. I don't care for Sam and Jason together and I never did. At the moment, I don't really see anything realistic now beyond a friendship for them. The romance angle just seems very forced. I think they should leave well enough alone and raise Danny together as great friends.
Honestly, I was never a big supporter of
Sam and Jason. I would much rather see Jason forgive Elizabeth and continue his life with her. I don't think Elizabeth should have kept the truth from Jason but what's done is done. And given how much time Jason has already lost, he should be ready to move on with his life.
Jason seems to be bonding more with Sonny. I'll give it a month and I bet their relationship will be very different. I think Jason is kind of lost. The last time Jason was lost and without a purpose, he turned to Sonny. So the odds are that history will repeat itself.
Speaking of happy couples, this suggested happy ending for Patrick and Robin almost seems too easy. It feels too good to be true. I keep expecting something disastrous to happen. What I'd like to see is for this couple to just leave town happy – kind of like Karen and Jagger did so many years ago.
In actor news, Tristan Rogers (Robert) has finished filming but will air into this month. Sebastian Roche has ended his brief return as Jerry Jacks. Kim McCullough (Robin) and Jason Thompson (Patrick) are also on their way out but fans are promised a happy ending for their characters. Fans of Thompson can watch him on Y&R as the new Billy.
