Will Anna and Robert get to Robin in time?

It was quite an exciting week. First, we saw the return of our favorite hero, Robert Scorpio. Even more exciting – Patrick and Anna finally realized that Robin was in deep trouble. Robert didn't seem surprised to learn that Robin was on Cassadine Island.

Honestly, it took much too long for the people who love Robin to figure things out, but at least they finally did. How and why Robin's family didn't get suspicious long before now, I don't know. For such intelligent people, it puzzles me why they didn't question Robin's actions.

So the hope is that Robin gets...

...rescued and she can reunite with her family. Something tells me that with Jason Thompson (Patrick) on his way out, Scrubs fans will finally get a happy resolution.

But I have to say, I really enjoy seeing Jerry again. The fact that he's in the middle of this story makes it even more exciting. And Jerry doesn't have a compassionate bone in his body. He's just deliciously diabolical – and as much as we hate to admit it, we love him.

I sure hope Jason finds a way to forgive Elizabeth. Jason and Elizabeth need to find their way back to each other. And by the way Jason looked at Elizabeth (at the charity event), it looks like a good possibility. You can still see the love in Jason's eyes when he looks at Liz. You can also see the very deep hurt. Clearly Jason feels completely betrayed – and who can blame him? But Jason must find a way to get past what Elizabeth did. Jason has too much invested in Elizabeth. He has way too much to lose. So, come on Jason! Get past it and settle into your life with Elizabeth and her kids.

In actor news, Tristan Rogers (Robert) made his much anticipated return recently. According to his Facebook page, the actor will be sticking around into the New Year. Shari Belafonte joins the cast as the recast Mayor Lomax. Belafonte will be on recurring status in the role.
