The Spencer family secret comes out

Finally, we know what brought on the breakdown/meltdown of our beloved Luke Spencer. And it was a chilling reveal to watch. Luke was barely a teenager when he accidentally killed his mother. The shock got the better of young Luke and he blocked the memory out.

But it didn't end there. Moments after learning that his mother died, Luke killed his abusive, alcoholic father. Again, the memory was blocked, but it clearly shaped the person Luke became.

So many things make sense now. I mean, any way you spin it, Luke raped Laura. He drank himself almost to death over the years. And Luke broke more laws than pretty much anyone.

But it all makes sense now. The pieces finally came together. Luke was haunted by his actions. Somewhere deep inside, Luke felt that he was just like his abusive father. So on some level, Luke behaved like his father.

A sad story to be sure. Hopefully Luke will return to the canvas a better and healthier man.

Ric is slipping. Why would he meet Jake's fake wife at the Metro Court? Isn't Ric just asking to be caught? And what happens when Cameron sees Hayden and tells Elizabeth? I'll tell you what will happen – Elizabeth will add the equation.

Another hope is that Nikolas will step up and share what he knows. Nik owes it to Sam and to Elizabeth to tell them who Jake really is. The question is – will he?
