Nikolas confronts Hayden

I was certain Nikolas had figured it out. I thought for sure he knew that Ric (not Helena) was behind the sudden appearance of Hayden Barns. Again I have to ask, why is Nikolas keeping Jake's real identity a secret? What does Nik have to gain? He's not with Elizabeth. In fact, Nik doesn't approve of Ric – so why not step up and tell the truth about Jake? And let's not forget that Sam is family to Nikolas.

As if Maxie would realistically choose Spinelli over Nathan. I think it's a bit ridiculous. Nathan is honest and true. Spinelli has spent most of his life being dishonest. And Spinelli chose Ellie over Maxie. I think Maxie is making a huge mistake in choosing Spinelli. Even though Maxie reverts to old habits, she's a mother now. Maxie has become a mature woman. Spinelli is a child – he's certainly not enough to keep Maxie happy.

Ned is such a white knight. I love the way he stepped up to protect Olivia. Not that it will do any good. There really is no way to fend Franco off, short of killing him. And Ned isn't a killer. Olivia should reconsider Julian's offer to help. Julian could put an end to Franco once and for all.

Morgan is just such a sad case. The kid will do anything to win Sonny's approval. Morgan has no life – no job, no woman, nothing. His goal is to turn Sonny against Michael – it's as simple as that. Deep down I think Morgan feels very inferior compared to Michael.

This custody battle is just pathetic. I don't think anyone is fit to care for little Avery. Sonny is a criminal and Michael needs anger management. Kiki is the lesser of the evils but that doesn't make her competent to mother a child. But given what Kiki did to make Michael look bad, is she a good role model for Avery?

So speaking of adorable baby Avery, who's lurking in the halls waiting to snatch her? Is it Michael – he's desperate right about now. It could be Nina – she seemed to snap on Friday when she saw the baby at the hospital. Or did Ava make her way back to Port Charles to save her daughter?

In actor news, Wally Kurth (Ned) confirmed that he will be leaving GH but going back to DOOL. Tyra Banks will host the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards on April 26. Finally, on April 5, Jason Thompson (Patrick) married Paloma Jonas. The couple married in San Pancho, Mexico.
