Elizabeth and Jake get an unexpected interruption
I really like Jake and Elizabeth but I'm still a little bit bugged. Why doesn't Elizabeth recognize Jake as Jason – even just a little bit? How can you kiss someone and not know them as the man you once loved? When you truly love someone, you would recognize their touch. It doesn't matter what the person looks like. It's frustrating to watch the people who loved Jason the most – Carly, Sam, and Elizabeth – just be so clueless.
This whole thing with Rebecca Budig as Jake's supposed wife has Ric written all over it.
Who else but Ric would find someone to pretend to be Jake's wife in order to get rid of the competition? I hope Nikolas comes forward with the truth. That will finally shut Ric up and give Elizabeth the happiness she deserves. Or maybe Jake will finally remember who he is. If that happens, he will more than likely return to Sam.
Speaking of Nikolas, how can he keep such a secret from Sam? And what about Elizabeth? The dark side of Nikolas sure isn't pretty. And look out when the truth eventually comes out Nikolas. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I'm not sure I like this side of Spinelli. He's turned into a dishonest weasel. I miss the sweet jackal who was nothing if not honest. And suddenly Spinelli must be with Maxie. How many times did Maxie confess her love to Spinelli? And he walked away from their relationship. Now all of a sudden, Spinelli loves Maxie and can't live without her.
The only enjoyable part of this whole silly story is watching Sonny mentor Spinelli. They're really funny together. And without Jason, it's nice to see Sonny kind of step up and help clueless Spinelli. That being said, I still would like to see Nathan wipe the floor with Spinelli.
In actor news, the newest Spencer, Valerie, played by Brytni Sarpy actually auditioned first for the role of Jordan. Sarpy was well received so she was brought back when the role of Valerie came up for grabs.
