Dante gets the wrong idea
Who can blame Dante for being suspicious of Lulu? Dante knows Lulu is in Canada with Dillon. So what is he supposed to think? I'm all for "innocent until proven guilty," but it's a logical conclusion.
What I can't figure out is if Valerie is sincere in her friendship with Dante. I'm not convinced that cousin Val doesn't want more from Dante. And now that Dante is angry and vulnerable,
Val can go in for the kill. If that's what she wants, that is.
So a marriage could potentially be ruined all due to a misunderstanding. Or maybe it's more about a lack of trust. If Lulu trusted Dante, there wouldn't be a misunderstanding to deal with. She would have disclosed everything and more than likely Dante would have understood.
Jennifer Smith – why were we taken down that road again? Especially given that Jennifer knew so little about Lucky. At least that what it looks like at this point. Why was Jennifer even brought into the mix? I'm thinking it has more to do with history than logic. Had it not been for the "almost "wedding of Luke and Jennifer, things would be very different. That wedding mishap started the first exciting adventure of Luke and Laura. Given that history, I suppose it makes sense that Jennifer was brought back briefly.
Ric certainly got over Elizabeth fast. One minute Ric was broken and the next he was married to another woman. And seriously – now Ric is fooling around with Madeline. The man will never change. It's deplorable, but predictable behavior. Ric is the same person he always was – a dishonest, twisted, shell of a man. Just when we think we've seen it all from Ric, he does something even more devious. While I certainly don't support Ric's behavior, nobody does it better. He's a man we love to hate, and hate to love.
