Susan Flannery has played the dynamic and oftentimes manipulative Stephanie Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful for 26 years since the show debuted in 1987.
She has been though several marriages (several times to the same man, namely Eric Forrester played by John McCook), suffered bouts of cancer, befriended a homeless woman, not to mention rocking the Los Angeles fashion world with numerous knock out collections.
She has fought and befriended and fought again the character of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She has given heartfelt advice to many a fashion colleague, then turned to stab them in the back.
She as held her own with formidible nemises like Sally Spectra (the late Darlene Conley), and even her own sons, Rick, Thorne, and Ridge (Jacob Young, Winsor Harmon, Ronn Moss respectively).
She has been a mainstay character on The Bold and the Beautiful, but now, it's time to bid her farewell as she leaves the show after all these years.
The cast and crew was not going to let her walk off the set on Thursday, October 18, 2012, her last tape day without celebrating her and her time on the soap.
In the longest camera tracking shot in the history of television, the cast and crew of B&B, cast and crew members from CBS shows, The Young and the Restless, The Price is Right and Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson as well as many employees of CBS Television City, gathered together to salute Susan with a song and performance, reminding her of “Who Loves Her…”. Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons tune was never employed for much fun.
Flannery's final performance as Stephanie Forrester airs on the most watched television program in the world, the Bold and the Beautiful on Monday, November 26, 2012 on the CBS television network in the US. Tune in to say your goodbyes to Stephanie.
For now, catch this amazing tribute. One thing is for certain. Everyone at CBS Television City, and us here at www.Soapdom.com are all among those "Who Loves You," Susan.
