“No more drama” in Llanview? Not!

As previously scooped in Soapdom’s Suds Buzz, Grammy Award-winning recording artist Mary J. Blige will appear on ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live" on FRIDAY, JULY 28 (taping Thursday, June 22 at the "OLTL" studio in New York City). She will perform two of her hits from her double-platinum album, "The Breakthrough."

"The cast and I, being huge fans of Mary J. Blige's tremendous talent, are thrilled that she will be appearing on 'One Life to Live,'" says executive producer Frank Valentini. "Music has always been a pivotal part of 'One Life to Live,' and Mary J. Blige helps us continue the tradition."

On "One Life to Live," Blige will appear as herself and perform at Antonio Vega's (Kamar de los Reyes) club, Capricorn. "One Life to Live" has a history of showcasing music on the show, including such artists as Jeannie Ortega, Lifehouse, Tito Puente Jr., Simply Red, Chris Botti and Erykah Badu.

Released on December 20, 2005, "The Breakthrough" soared to the top of the Billboard chart to debut at #1, scanning 727,163 units and earning the honor of being the best opening week for a solo R&B female artist in SoundScan history. Blige is set to kick off her summer tour, "The Breakthrough Experience," on July 1 in Houston, TX. Her six prior platinum and multi-platinum hit albums include such classics as "No More Drama," "What's the 411," "My Life," "Share My World," "Mary" and "Love & Life."

Days of our Lives Guy Wilson says running the LA Marathon was an "eye opening experience"

The 2015 Los Angeles Marathon is over, but for Guy Wilson (Will) of Days of our Lives, he tells Soapdom that running in it this year to raise money for APLA (Aids Project Los Angeles), was an "eye opening experience".

"Oh Yes! This was so great to be able to give back to the community and raise money and awareness of this dreadful disease. "Wilson said. "I was so impressed with the fans of Days and the people that came out for this event. For me in general...this was a powerful experience, and the adrenalin was pumping. My goal was to go in this and serve the community."
