Andrea Evans (Rebecca, PAS) will reprise her role as City of Hope’s 2006 Celebrity Ambassador for its annual Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer program, held in cities across the country. This will mark the sixth consecutive year Evans has dedicated her time and efforts to the Walk and its drive to cure breast cancer. The Emmy-nominated star of NBC’s Passions, also renowned for her roles on One Life to Live, the Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful, is launching a fundraising team, Andrea’s Angels, recruiting fans nationwide to register in their own cities via the event Web site, www.walk4hope.org/andreasangels.
Walk for Hope raises funds for City of Hope Cancer Center, a leader in research and treatment to prevent, combat and ultimately cure breast cancer. The top national fundraiser registered to the Andrea’s Angels team will win a trip for two to Los Angeles and the chance to visit the Passions set complete with lunch with Andrea Evans The top fundraisers from the teams in each market will win an exclusive Passions carry-all with unique items including beach towel, sports water bottle, cast cook book and other memorabilia from the show.

Walk for Hope events are being held this year in Dallas (Grapevine), Seattle, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.
