Soap opera community photos scoops news buzz and celebrities

Congratulations to the Bold and the Beautiful's Heather Tom (Katie), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and everyone else on the team who raised $8000 for Children's Hopsital Los Angeles, and won a few top placing medals as well -- three to be exact -- in the 27th Annual Nautica MalibuTriathlon this past weekend.

Comprised of cast members, Heather Tom, Katherine Kelly Lang, Jennifer Gareis, Kristolyn Lloyd, Karla Mosley, Winsor Harmon and Aaron D. Spears as well as staff members Producer/Director, Cynthia J. Popp, Producer, Casey Kasprzyk, Vice President of International Publicity, David Gregg, and CBS On-Air Promo Producer, JJ Jurgens, team The Bold and the Beautiful competed individually and in the relay division in both the celebrity and non-celebrity categories.

Five-time Daytime Emmy® winning actress, Heather Tom, took first place in the women’s celebrity division.  This is the second win for Tom, who also took home the honors in 2009 and participated in 2011 and 2008. 

First time Nautica Malibu Triathlon participant Katherine Kelly Lang took third place in the women’s celebrity division coming in just four minutes behind Tom. Additionally, Lang took first place in her age division in the Hansen Dam Triathlon that took place on Sunday, August 19.

To round out the Team The Bold and the Beautiful winners, actors Jennifer Gareis (swimming), Winsor Harmon (cycling), and Aaron D. Spears (running), placed fourth in the celebrity relay division.
