The show goes LIVE
Impressive is putting it mildly. General Hospital went live last Friday and it was spectacular! I mean, there were a couple snags, but what an impressive job the actors did. And there was so much excitement – all in one short hour.
I still found myself hoping that Duke was alive. I just wanted him to have a happy ending with Anna. If I had any say in the matter, Duke would have faked his death with Anna's help.
Then Robert Scorpio would have gotten Duke out of the country. Duke would have waited safely for Anna to join him someday. Instead, our handsome Duke died at the hands of Carlos. The only good thing was that Duke finally admitted his mistakes to Anna. She can at least take comfort in that.
It doesn't look so good for Carlos. I found myself yelling for Anna to shoot him – I mean really yelling out loud, "shoot him, Anna!" But when it finally happened, I was startled. I wasn't sure Anna would go through with it. I'm glad she did it though. And it wasn't just to wound him. Anna knew what she was doing, that's for sure.
I kept expecting Robin to run into the church to comfort Anna. There were several perfect moments when Robin's arrival would have worked perfectly. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens on Monday.
Julian is such a coward. He will do anything to put the blame on someone else. I'm not a fan of Sonny, but at least he owns up to taking someone out. Not Julian though. Instead of owning what he did, Julian denied everything. And then he put the blame on Jake. What kind of man does that?
In actor news, fans are still recovering from the news that Tony Geary (Luke) has chosen to leave the show. On the plus side, watch for the return of Genie Francis as Laura.
