Ric's luck runs out

Thanks to Carly, Ric's evil scheme was finally exposed. And nobody was more surprised than Jake. The guy was totally blindsided. And Elizabeth – she got a double dose of truth. Not only is Jake not married, he's not Jake – he's Jason!

It's kind of a given that Ric and Elizabeth are permanently over. And I'm guessing there isn't much future for Jake and Hayden. But what about Sam and Patrick?

And how will Nikolas explain all of this away? He knew the truth and kept quiet. Anyone would find that unforgivable. Not only did Nikolas betray Elizabeth, he betrayed his cousin Sam. And for what? For nothing more than money and greed.

This darker side of Nikolas is a bit disturbing. I don't know about you, but I believed Nikolas when he threatened Hayden. The only 'normal' side to Nikolas lately is the man who is Spencer's father. That's the Nikolas I love. The Nikolas who would do anything to protect the people he cares about. This other guy isn't nearly as appealing.

People need to stop telling secrets in public. Why oh why would Olivia talk about her baby's real father in the hospital? The conversation could have waited. It could have waiting until she and Ned were alone – in the car or at home. Anywhere but the halls of a busy hospital.

Now Sam knows the truth. Sam has no reason not to tell Julian. She has no commitment or friendship with Olivia.

And things are about to get even more exciting with the return of Genie Francis as Laura. It's about time, right? With all Luke has been through, I expected Laura months ago. We don't know when she's coming back or for how long. But no matter. The important thing is Genie Francis is coming back!
