Who should Elizabeth choose?
To some longtime fans, this is a no brainer. Should Elizabeth choose Nikolas or AJ? Nikolas is without a doubt smoking hot. He’s kind, sweet, sexy, honest, reliable, and very intelligent. Nikolas would lay down his life for his family and friends. I can’t imagine any woman turning the Prince down. So in my mind, Nikolas is the perfect choice for Elizabeth. Nikolas is the man who could make Elizabeth very happy.
Some would say Elizabeth should choose AJ because of his obvious connection to Jason. And AJ has changed his ways – sort of. There’s still some element of the old, crafty, dishonest guy who ‘died’ all those years ago. I like AJ but I don’t trust him. But AJ seems to genuinely care for Elizabeth. Or does he? Some would wonder how AJ could care for Elizabeth and sleep with Carly. And that is a very valid question.
AJ and Carly are even better than Todd and Carly (did I say that?). They love to hate each other. They’re so comical together too. I could see their hatred/passion eventually turn into love. It’s really not so far-fetched. Carly and AJ have a son together. And they share the same lack of conscience and lack of concern for the impact of their actions on others.
Luke and Laura kissed and said goodbye – that was one of the saddest yet most necessary moments ever. Clearly Luke and Laura have outgrown each other. Laura grew into a responsible adult over the years. Unfortunately Luke is still the same dishonest player and schemer he always was. It was only a matter of time before they officially split. Yes, they’ve been divorced for some time. But there was still a bond. And there was still the hope that the infamous ‘Luke and Laura’ would reign supreme once again. Sadly, that isn’t to be. And nobody is more disappointed than I am.
