It was great fun for an amazing cause on the set of Days of our Lives today as cast and crew celebrated SpiritDay. 

We've got a few photos to share of the event.

Notice how most all the women are in some shade of purple.  Even the guys are sporting some sort of purple or other. A purple shirt.  A purple tie.

How cool is it seeing Nadia Bjorlin (Chole) back in Salem?  Way cool, right?

But here's a question.  Why is purple the color du jour?

The answer is simple.  Days of our Lives is coming out in support of SpritDay. 

SpiritDay, October 19, 2012 brought light on the bullying that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) folks may suffer because of their orientation. Days stars including Deidre Hall (Marlena), Kate Mansi (Abigail), Shawn Christian (Daniel), Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Bill Hayes (Doug), Blake Berris (Nick), Camilla Banus (Gabi), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Eileen Davidson (Kristen), Eric Martsolf (Brady), Freddie Smith (Sonny) joined with millions of Americans to wear purple to speak out against this bullying.
