B&B Scores with Award-Winning Hal Linden for Limited Run

Hal Linden (Kramer) & Lesley-Anne Down (Jackie) of the Bold and the BeautifulAs previously reported in Soapdom's Suds Buzz column, Emmy® and Tony® Award-winning actor Hal Linden ("Barney Miller") will join The Bold and the Beautiful for a limited run in the role of Jerry Kramer, a mysterious man from Jackie's (Lesley-Anne Down) past.  Jackie's son, Nick (Jack Wagner), will begin to have flashbacks of Kramer, and be puzzled by these memories. 

Best known for his Emmy-nominated title role on the sitcom "Barney Miller," Linden won his Emmys for a series of daytime informational spots called "F.Y.I." 

Among his extensive television credits are the series "Jack's Place," "Gilmore Girls," "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," "Will & Grace," and "The King of Queens," on the Network.  His stage credits include "The Rothschilds," for which he won a Tony Award, "The Pajama Game," "I'm Not Rappaport" and "The Sisters Rosenzweig."

Linden's episodes begin airing on The Bold and the Beautiful on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006.

A few moments with the delightful Constance Towers

Star of stage, screen, and television, Constance Towers hails from the beautiful state of Montana. As a child, Towers sang on the radio and planned on becoming an opera singer. Eventually heading to New York with her family, Towers was a student at the Juilliard School of Music and the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts. Towers has done numerous musicals both on and off Broadway. They include Guys and Dolls, Anya, Carousel, The Sound of Music, and The King and I. She's had some impressive co-stars, including John Wayne, William Holden, and Yul Brynner. Towers has guest starred on a number of prime time television shows including L.A. Law, Designing
