The Bold and the Beautiful's Robin Riker (Beth Logan) is taking new media and YouTube very seriously. As the nation has seen singers (Justin Bieber), and radio announcers (Don Williams the Golden Voiced Homeless Man), and even television shows (Sh*t My Dad Says) emerge from the likes of Youtube and Twitter, Riker's goal is to accomplish the same thing but with a stage play. She wants it to be the first stage play to go from YouTube to say, Broadway, maybe?
Last summer, at the Zephyr Theatre in Hollywood, Riker starred in the play Cannibals, written by R. J. Colleary. The Zephyr has been around since the early 1950s and is a well respected venue. The play got great reviews and an excerpt from one was printed in the theatre review section of the national magazine called "The Week."
Now she wants to share the opening monologue of the play with fans by promoting this trailer on YouTube. The opening monologue of the YouTube trailer is the opening monolgue of the play. Check it out!
