The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held this evening in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Hilton and aired from 8 to 10 PM on CBS.
Wayne Brady hosted the show which was a sort of hodgepodge with an array of Vegas acts, poignant moments, and tribute to talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey and the 25-year reign of the Oprah Winfrey Show that went a tad too long, especially as Oprah
could not be there in person to thank those honoring her.
The biggest news of the night came in the show's final moments when the Bold and the Beautiful took home the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama series for the third year in a row.
Other daytime drama category winners are:
Outstanding Supporting Actor
Jonathan Jackson (Lucky, General Hospital)
Outstanding Supporting Actress
Heather Tom (Katie, The Bold and the Beautiful)
