Judi Evans (Adrianne) of Days of our Lives has been dazzling daytime audiences for 30 years and she is celebrating with a party and is extending an invitation to you the fans to come to the star-studded event. (See Link Below) The event will also help to raise awareness in regard to the movement to stomp out bullying.
"I started very young in the business. I have been working since two years old. I grew up in the circus," Evans said. "I was a clown. My family were literally circus people."
Evans rejoined Days of Our lives after a few years absence and is thrilled to be back home in Salem. She originated the role of Adrianne in the late 1980's, and any Days die hard fan will recall her playing the whacked out character of Bonnie Lockhart (2003 to 2007).
Evans would love for the writers' to take note and throw her and her husband, Justin, (Wallace Kurth) in some hot water, saying that is always fun to play when there is trouble in paradise, and also adding that bad girls get around.
Evans career in daytime is extensive. In the early 1980's she played Beth Raines on Guiding Light. In the early 1990's she was Paulina Cory McKinnon on Another World. And in 2009, she was Maeve Stone on As The World turns.
"I must say...that every show that I have been on has been great," Evans explained. "You know...every show and every character that I have played has very special moments to me in my life."
She admitted that she has been very privileged to work with many talented incredible actors over the years like Burt Reynolds and the late Bert Convey, and her first audition for a movie was with Paul Newman. She also has worked in several series.
She recently completed a comedy film for USA called "Ron and Laura Take Back America," which will be out in late summer.
She will play the character of Diana.
When not in the spotlight, Evans is mom to her 17 year-old son, and beside that, she also has a side career that one would never guess. Or would they?
"I guess not. I'm a family service counselor working at a cemetery," Evans said. "I try to be a ray of sunshine on a rather dark day to a family."
Evans works at the Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary in Whittier, California., and said that by having this type of job it keeps her grounded and makes you realize what life is really all about.
Soapdom wants to know if there is anything she wanted to tell fans that have followed you over the years? " My Yes! Thanks for the support and loyalty. I'm indebted to the core, and thanks for being followers."
