Chandler Massey (ex-Will) and Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad) of Days of our Lives are two rock' in dudes. The formers suds stars have been working non-stop since leaving the show on recording a song for people living with cystic fibrosis, and they recently released a video doing a cover of Miley Cyrus's number one hit "Wrecking Ball," which I may add is a must see.
Back in early summer, Massey and Deidrick, along with Stephen Haynes, Mike Gross, and Josh Bonaparte launched a kickstarter campaign to raise money to do the song "Sixty Five Roses," as a tribute to Stephen Haynes, wife, Angel, who has the disease. Incidentally, they raised above their expected goal.
The song is available on You Tube and a digital copy is made available on the iTunes store.
The group started a new band called "And Still I Rise," with future plans and hopefully to hit the road.
The group consists of five very talented individuals and musicians. "Wrecking Ball" is hilarious. With out giving away too much, it is a video of guys having fun at a party complete with booze and a special guest shows up. It is guaranteed to be replayed over and over. As for the band "And Still I Rise", you will be hearing good things about them.
