Elizabeth gets "lucky" with Nikolas
I was kind of bothered by the way Elizabeth talked about Jason as if he was some sort of passing infatuation. If I didn't know better (and I think I do) I'd wonder if Liz is over Jason. When Lucky proposed, Liz acted like Jason was a mistake she never should have made. I don't get it. I thought Jason was the love of her life. Elizabeth accepted Jason's marriage proposal without hesitation. She planned on spending the rest of her life with Jason. Now Jason has suddenly become some random guy Liz is "over" - just like that? Liz even told Nikolas "that's been over for a long time" when he asked about her feelings for Jason.
Ok, speaking of Nikolas. Woo Hoo!!! Niz totally heated things up this past week! I haven't seen a love scene that steamy since
Ric and Claudia first got together. First, Tyler Christopher looks unbelievable! He has the makings of a Greek God. And Becky Herbst is petite and darling. When Tyler/Nik lifted Liz/Becky up, he made it look effortless. She looked so tiny in his huge arms. These two are sexy as heck together for so many reasons! Nikolas is just this big, strong, dark Hulk of a male. And Liz is this fair, tiny, beautiful woman. The contrast just hit me like a ton of bricks. But I think it was part of what made them so darn sexy! I love how Liz called Nik her "fantasy." I hope Liz comes to her senses and chooses Nikolas.I think Elizabeth and Nikolas have a genuine respect and attraction for each other. It could possibly be love. Both of them are lonely and unhappy. And Elizabeth, especially, deserves to be happy. She needs to stop settling and make a decision - a decision that will make HER happy. Nikolas could be just what Liz needs. Nikolas has been miserable since Emily died. He deserves to be happy as well. So, I'm on board the Niz train.
I'm just curious about something. Is there such a thing as confidentiality when you hire a PI? If so, WHY did Sam run and tell Jason everything Michael confided in her? Michael trusted Sam. He specifically asked her not to tell anyone, especially Jason. Remind me not to call Sam when I need a discreet PI.
How funny was Molly's heart to heart with Jason? I don't think Jason understood half of what Molly said to him judging by the look on his face. When Molly told Jason to treat Sam with "chivalry and honor," his answer was "what?" Molly is years ahead of most adults in Port Charles. She's a wise old soul. And she's funny. Especially when she's telling Stone Cold "what for." Molly would make for a great sparring partner for Edward. Can you imagine?
And poor Jax. Michael is misinterpreting his memories and blaming Jax for the shooting. Imagine Michael thinking Jax put out a "hit" on Sonny. How ridiculous is that? All Jax is guilty of is being Jerry's brother. And Jerry didn't shoot Michael. He didn't even plan the shooting, Claudia did. The only thing Jax did was keep the truth about Jerry and Claudia's involvement from Carly. But who can blame him, given Carly's health and her complicated pregnancy?
It seems like Dante/Dominic is getting in too deep with Sonny and his family. I just don't see him putting Sonny in prison. How could he break Morgan's heart by sending his father to prison? Especially once Dante/Dominic finds out Sonny is his father too.
And what about eliminating Johnny? Is Sonny so petty and jealous that he's gonna have Johnny killed? There's no WAY Dante/Dominic can kill Johnny on Sonny's orders. He couldn't break Olivia's heart. Johnny already told Spinelli he's in love with Olivia. And Olivia ran out of her critically injured son's room to check on Johnny. If that's not love, I don't know what is. If I were writing the show, Olivia would tell Dante/Dominic and Sonny the truth and all would be forgiven. Then Olivia would marry Sonny. All the Corinthos kids would get along famously. Happy ending. Sorry Johnny, but I'd really like to see Olivia with Sonny.
I'm sad to hear Sarah Brown is leaving later this year. It sounds like Sarah's exit will make for an exciting November sweeps. But - will the truth about the shooting come out before Claudia leaves town? And will she flee Port Charles and head back to Italy? Or will Sonny, Jason, or even Jerry eliminate Claudia? If the truth comes out, a lot of people will want Claudia dead. Whatever happens, Soapdom wishes Sarah Brown the best of luck. She'll definitely be missed.
