We thought that perhaps he was Mr. Kay Alden.  But LizW123 from the ATWT and GL fan club webpages set us straight.  "He is John Conboy, Executive Producer of Guiding Light," Liz emailed our editors.  "He hired Doug for his first soap job."  Thanks Liz, you Rule!
