The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast on POP TV on Sunday, April 26 from 8 to 10 PM (ET/PT), and will be hosted by none other than Tyra Banks, model extradorinaire and host of America's Next Top Model.
It was announced by none other than Tyra herself on her Twitter feed!
Meantime, POP TV has produced several promo spots.
The first, shows what appear to be producers, or are they police detectives, with an image board trying to decide who will host. An assistant (PA or junior detective?) approaches and says something like, "that's easy. It's Tyra Banks," as she slaps Tyra's photo on the image board. "How do you know?" one detective pipes up. "I follow Tyra on Twitter," is the reply!
The second video is a straight forward promo for the Awards broadcast and names the host.
