The pre-nominations for the acting categories for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The pre-noms represent the selections by actor peer group judges and helps to narrow the field down a bit for consideration for the final nominations.
This is the first time in Daytime Emmy history that full-length soap operas, produced and distributed on the internet, were included in the nominations.
Those soap operas are All My Children and One Life to Live, produced by Prospect Park for TOLN.com, formerly ABC Daytime network programs.
Judging for the final nominations begins March 26th. The official nominations for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced May 1st.
