Episode #11258----Sami attempts to apologize to Rafe, but it doesn't go very well. Rafe doesn't think Sami trusts him and we see it's true. Rafe thinks they've lost precious time in regards to Sydney. Gabi shows up and needs a word alone with Rafe. After Sami leaves the room, she tells him about Arianna and they split. Sami comes back out and is thrown to see them gone...
Stefano questions EJ about the baby dropper he found. He wonders if EJ has Sydney. EJ dismisses his father's accusations, and Stefano urges his son to be honest with him. EJ explains Stefano was never honest with him about the baby switch, letting him believe he had no daughter. After Stefano threatens to go to the police, EJ claims it was for Johnny. Sami shows up and backs up EJ's story. Johnny has gone back to using a dropper. Defeated and not thrilled with the bonding that's occurring between Sami and EJ, Stefano takes his leave. Sami asks what's going on with Stefano, but EJ is vague. Sami admits she's having issues with Rafe. At the same time, Stefano knows EJ isn't telling the truth and plans to do something about it.
Roman is sad to inform Arianna she'll be returning to prison. Brady is furious nothing could be done, and Arianna reels from learning she's going to be locked in the same prison as Nicole. Rafe shows up and promises Arianna he'll fix this. Later, Rafe calls his friend at the FBI and asks him for help. Arianna says good-bye to Brady until Roman enters with news. Did Rafe save the day?
Vivian learns from Gus that Melanie is Carly's daughter. Melanie asks Vivian about her phone call, but Vivian covers and leaves. Later, Vivian goes over the details about Melanie with Gus. She meets with Victor and goes over her new plan. She won't kill Melanie, mainly because of Philip, but she will avenge Lawrence by killing Carly. At the same time, Melanie confides in Maggie about Vivian and Maggie warns her to be careful. Philip shows up and Melanie, worried about Maggie, convinces Philip to eat in. They share a nice moment and discuss Vivian's obsessive interest in Melanie.
Carly dreams of a peaceful life with her daughter, but it goes all wrong. Justin arrives and calls her on sleeping with Bo. Carly doesn't apologize and she tells Justin she's not giving up on Bo.
