Episode #11260----Arianna visits a distraught Sami and the two discuss Rafe and Sami's relationship. They talk about Sydney and Arianna admits Rafe is the guy that can bring her home. He stopped Arianna from going to prison after all. At the same time, EJ gives Rafe "advice" about his relationship with Sami. Rafe says he doesn't need EJ's help in understanding how Sami feels and exits. EJ later savors his triumph with Anna. Back at Sami's, Arianna explains what Rafe did for her just as Rafe enters. After Arianna leaves, Sami realizes Rafe was keeping things from her as well. They butt heads on what was the right course of action for getting Sydney back, and Sami tells Rafe that it's just too hard see him at all. Rafe agrees and decides to move out, but both are tormented by the love they share for each other. Meanwhile, EJ gets a visit from Arianna, who thanks him for saving her from Troy. She comes clean about her working undercover for the police, and when Arianna admits she fears something might happened to her now that her secret's out, EJ says she should. EJ plays the grieving father, but when he steps out of the room for a moment, Arianna picks up EJ's ringing cell, thinking it to be hers, and Anna's on the other line!

Daniel and Chloe work at the hospital and share a nice moment. Carly strolls by and Daniel has a word with her in private. He just wanted to make sure Vivian isn't getting to her, and she reassures him she can handle it. They recall when Carly introduced Daniel to Rebecca, and Daniel knows she would have wanted him to be happy, and he is with Chloe. Meanwhile, Chloe helps a little girl and becomes upset. Carly comforts Chloe over being unlikely to conceive. Later, Chloe meets back with Daniel, and comes to see that maybe a miracle can happen for her.

Stephanie tells Nathan she wants to tell Melanie about them, and Nathan, hiding his displeasure, tells her to go for it. Melanie meets with Stephanie and explains all of her wedding arrangement woes. Stephanie advises her to postpone the wedding and Melanie says no way. She and Philip share true love and they must be married soon. Melanie asks about Nathan, and Stephanie, with a perfect opportunity to tell Melanie about their relationship, decides to keep it a secret. Later, Melanie talks with Daniel. He tries to give her advice about Vivian and Nathan, but she won't here it. Meanwhile, Maggie fights her demons with a bottle of scotch. Nathan arrives to check on her and finds her with an empty bottle. She assures him that she didn't drink it, and the two of them talk about Mickey. Melanie shows up and after Nathan blows her off, it becomes clear even to her that she still has feelings for him. Stephanie meets with Nathan and tells him that they should wait until Melanie and Philip are married until they go public. At the same time, Melanie makes her way to the pier and in fury over her mixed up feelings, she hurts her hand. Carly walks in on this, and insists on examining it. Melanie sees the caring Carly has for her and demands an answer as to why Carly cares so. Will Carly tell her that she's her daughter?
