Congratulations are in order! On Monday, February 7, 2011, The Bold and the Beautiful broadcasts the 6000th episode. Fiction meets reality in this stand-out episode when an intervention-type of visit is arranged by Stephanie to convince an addicted cigar smoker, Nick, to kick his addiction after learning that he has a spot on his lung. The intervention includes testimonies from actual lung cancer survivors, including Emmy® Award winning actress, Kathryn Joosten. Along with Joosten's heart-wrenching recount of her diagnosis, fellow cancer advocates Dr. Michael Weitz, Meryl Bralower, and opera singer, Zheng Cao, share their feats of overcoming the dreaded disease. Stephanie also brings Jackie and Nick's son Jack to help in the intervention. Will it work?

After Monday's milestone episode, the rest of the week heats up with tons more intrigue. Like --- Brooke and Bill discuss the burgeoning relationship between Hope and Liam over dinner at Il Giardino. Will they come to any remarkable conclusions? Then, Hope confronts Amber and demands she take a pregnancy test, right then and there. Does Amber comply? We think not. Regardless, after Liam confesses all to his father, Amber finds herself face to face with a very angry Bill Spencer. How will she talk herself out of this one?

It's then back to Stephanie as she and Thomas chat about how they both see Brooke so differently now. Do they like what the see? Plus, watch for a familiar face to many a soap fan as A Martinez (Santa Barbara, General Hospital) hits the fashion world as Dr. Ramon Montgomery. Does he make house calls?
