Benefit to be held at Town Hall in NYC on February 25

Jason Thompson (Patrick, GH)The curtain rises for a third consecutive year as the spotlight shines center stage on stars from All My Children, One Life to Live, General Hospital and The View as they sing and dance on Broadway for one night only in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  For the first time this year, ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will also feature Disney theatrical stars Ashley Brown and Josh Strickland, the stars of "Mary Poppins, The New Musical," and "Tarzan," respectively.  But that's not all.  Taking convergence to a higher level, Brown and Strickland will also appear as themselves in a unique twist to storyline on All My Children in a scene to air prior to the event.

Joy Behar, co-host of The View, opens the evening with a stand up comedy routine.  Cameron Mathison (Ryan, AMC) hosts the program for the evening.  This year, the audience gets the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including the chance to perform on stage with some of ABC Daytime's hottest hunks. But that's not all. There are set tours up for grabs and even a walk on role on AMC or OLTL.  Another prize package called "A Day at The View," includes VIP tickets to the show, signed merchandise and a meet-and-greet with all four co-hosts, Barbara Walters, Rosie O'Donnell, Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselbeck.  Stand by for details on how to get in on the fun.

Although talent participation is subject to change, performers scheduled to appear include:

I'd just like to ask you something, and it has something to do with the finale of 3rd Annual ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares benefit. Now, I know a friend of mine at MySpace doesn't know the answer to this question, but here it goesuring the finale, did "All My Children"'s Ambyr Childers, Jeff Branson, Chrishell Stause, Aiden Turner, Colin Egglesfield, and Brent Weber all sing "Day-Dreams" with the rest of the ABC Daytime stars? I'm just curious, that's all.
