At Soapdom, interns work directly with top management in our southern California office to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the business. If you're looking to break into the soap opera or internet publishing industries, have a flair for writing, an upbeat personality, a can-do attitude, and can't wait to get your daily fix of a favorite soap, than an internship at Soadpom is for you!

Duties may include several of the following:  writing, covering soap opera related events, completing special project assignments, conducting and transcribing soap star interviews, researching, advertising, marketing, social networking, graphics, photo and web production, and some light office work as needed.

In addition to the valuable assistance interns provide Soapdom, we are committed to giving you the opportunity to learn internet publishing and the soap opera world from the inside out. We are always available to answer questions and help interns determine what part of the industry they would like to pursue after graduation.

Interning at Soapdom gives students the unique opportunity to work directly with movers and shakers in the soap opera industry, a major facet of today's entertainment world. We expect interns to impress us with their intelligence, energy, wit, and enthusiasm. A knowledge of soap operas is naturally a big plus, but not required.  The majority of entry level jobs at Soapdom have been filled by former interns who have done their best to impress us. REQUIREMENTS
Two full days a week from the hours of 10-5 in our office or telecommuting.  Or three to four hours a day three or four days a week in our office or telecommuting.

QUALIFICATIONS
Interns must be a part of their school’s internship program earning credit for their internship.

COMPENSATION
This is a non-paying internship, but interns receive all access to Soadpom.com, a Soapdom blog, and other special soap insider privileges.
