Chrishell Stause (Jordan, Days of our Lives) (c)Soapdom/LMSShe has the job any girl would dream of, but for Chrishell Srause (Jordan Ridgeway) of Days of our lives, it's all in a days work.

Not only does she play opposite of Galen Gering (Rafe), her storyline is so intriguing that you can call her the "mystery lady." In fact, viewers tune in daily to see if she really is Jordan, or just who and the h--- is she? And oh yes! Those glasses she wears are not prescription. Just what is her agenda?

"I really love my role,"Stause gushes. "She (Jordan) is a fun character, and I like the challenge of tackling her as she begins to unravel from the business like the lady she started out as. I really like the layers to the character. Sometimes I'm even shocked."

Stause, who plays the therapist that will help Gering walk after being injured, said he makes her job easy and fun, and he makes her laugh all the time on set and she loves the professional bond that they have formed. "I like working with Galen. Sometimes I never know what to expect," Stause said. "He is very humorous, and I love being like the new fabric on the canvas."

Beside her stunning drop dead gorgeous looks, Stause has taken on the Days viewers with her wit and charm. Starting out as the little girl next door, viewers will soon see her other side, as well as her acting ability.

"I learned a lot from this role. I have done my research on being a physical therapist," Stause explains. "I will tell you, I have a lot of empathy for people that do this job for real. I have an older sister that was in an accident, and I was there for her, so I know a bit on the difficulty of the profession."

Prior to Days of our Lives, Stause played Amanda Dillion on All My Children. She also guest-starred in the second season of Dana Delany series "Body of Proof."  She also enjoys improv and is a member of The Groundlings in Los Angeles.

Stause hails from Kentucky and definitely possesses the charm of a southern Belle, but she is of Japanese and Spanish decent. "I love Los Angeles, but I love the South," Stause said. "It is very different."

Stause wants everyone to know that she is very opposite of Jordon, and said that she is more outgoing. She also brags about her Sagittarius tattoo and is a huge animal lover. She adores her dog, Elvis, named after "The King," saying she is "obsessed" with him. Stause also admitted that she is not domesticated and has burnt dinner, but is good at eating cereal.

Stause has been engaged once, but today enjoys remaining single and being a free spirit, jokingly saying, "It's complicated." For the moment, she enjoys being able to do what she wants and accomplish her goals.

Stause remains good friends with Melissa Claire Egan, who played Annie Novak Chandler on All My Children (currently Chelsea on The Young and the Restless), and just enjoys being the all around American girl.  You can find the two of them out and about singing karaoke in Los Angeles when they have the time.

Soapdom wants to know if you have any message to your Days of our Lives fans? "Oh Yes! Love you guys. Thanks for welcoming me, so that I may be a part of such a wonderful show and cast."

Past Blast

Days of our Lives' Blake Berris enjoys being "twisted!"

As the "twisted" character of Nick Fallon on Days of our Lives, one never knows what to expect, or what is lurking in that "deep thoughts" look. But for Emmy nominated Blake Berris, playing the role is fun, and he loves the challenge of not knowing what is up next.

"I have to tell you...I love this character. The writers' have done a great job resurrecting him," Berris said. The character gets more interesting and more bizarre each episode, and I love it that way."

Berris admitted that when he picks up the script, he is always excited in seeing just what old Nick is up to. He is a member of the Horton clan, son to Jessica and Joshua Fallon. He surfaced a few years ago all grown up and as a shady dark guy terrorizing poor Melanie (Molly Burnett). He was carted off to prison and is now back.
