Well, soap fans, what can we say. The week of September 14, 2009 will go down in broadcast history as the week the longest-running program on the airwaves comes to an end. It is so sad to see it go, yet rewarding in knowing that for over 72 years, Guiding Light has inspired us, caused us to laugh and cry, made us more aware of social issues and strove, to its very last week to entertain us every afternoon.

With the last week packed with many surprises for long time fans and newbies alike, the powers that be at the soap are keeping very mum about revealing any sneak peek information. They want us all to tune in, and here at www.Soapdom.com, that's just what we
