The Halloween party in Salem is cause for celebration as the new Horton Town Square is decked to the nines with ghoulish and fiendish décor and everyone in Salem comes to compete for the best costume in town, whether there is a costume contest or not! But the festivities turn out to be anything but jovial for Brady, who ends up arguing with both Nicole and Madison. Meanwhile, Marlena has a tense stand-off with EJ. Then, it’s not long before Maggie drops a bombshell on Daniel. How will Daniel take the news?
Speaking of Marlena, she later hypnotizes John so they can learn the truth. What will John reveal under hypnosis?
Shortly thereafter, Hope convinces herself that Alice had more secrets. Why does Hope come to suspect the towns’ once beloved matriarch? Regardless, Bo takes things up a notch romantically when he arranges an impromptu renewing of their vows for him and Hope.
In the meantime, Quinn is back and he reveals he wants to open a spa in the town square. Will his proposition be met with opposition? Later, Sami worries that John's mind has been messed with so much, who knows what he’s capable of now. Did Marlena’s attempt to hypnotize him dredge up John’s mercenary side?
At the same time, Kate tells Stefano she has a plan to take down Madison. Madison best beware. Or is it Kate and Stefano that should be on the defensive?
