Episode #13,701 ---- Mick convinces Emily to harvest her eggs on the premise that if Paul won't commit to having a child with her, he'll help her himself. Emily's then goes to Alison's wedding shower at the Lakeview. The shower's attendees, Lisa, Susan, and Margo have stressed Ali out about whether or not she'll change her last name when she marries Casey. Ali notices Mick watching her in the Lobby and she goes to him. He pulls her into the elevator and tries to convince her that she doesn't actually want this marriage. Ali denies and manages to get out of the elevator. Seeing Casey arrive, she grabs hold of him and they go back to Tom and Margo's where Ali is once again put down to rest. She awakes, alone, and leaves. She arrives at Bell Tower, unsure of why she's come. Mick kisses her passionately and they begin to make love.

Barbara tells unsatisfied Paul that Mick will reveal his plan when he's ready. Paul's about to lose it, he's so nervous that Mick might harm his wife, when Susan brings Emily in. Emily kept acting like she was in a trance at the shower and she tells Paul, once again in Mick's words, that she's going to have a baby with or without him. Paul's distraught; he thought he and Emily were going to make it work this time. Emily snaps out of it and realizes Mick's somehow brainwashing her.

Barbara's yelled at by Paul, rejected by Mick, and later finds herself looking in the mirror wondering if she looks remotely younger at all.
