Taylor begs Brooke to marry Ridge right there in her and Nick’s home but Brooke resists. Brooke wants to speak with Nick alone only upsetting Taylor further. Taylor gives in and allows Brooke to speak with Nick. They agree that Taylor’s request, and intentions, is insane.
While Brooke and Nick are out of the room talking, Ridge sees exactly how troubled Taylor is, and how much she is struggling with trying to keep her life together.
Brooke returns to tell Taylor exactly what she thinks of the idea to marry on Taylor’s terms. Taylor goes off -- yelling in Brooke’s face, about all the times before she came between Taylor and Ridge, now that she is trying to help her marry Ridge, Brooke has the nerve to say it is preposterous.
Emotionally raw, Taylor grabs a glass of wine off the table claiming she is going to toast Ridge and Brooke. Everyone holds their breathe expecting Taylor to take a drink. Taylor turns slamming the glass of wine into the wall telling Brooke and Ridge to go home, the party is over.
Across town, Stephanie’s quiet evening is interrupted by Jackie, of all people. Jackie barges in breaking the news about Brooke being Jack’s biological mother, in hopes of gaining an ally in breaking Nick and Taylor up, so Brooke and Nick can finally be together.
Surprisingly, Stephanie isn’t as welcoming to Jackie’s proposal as would be expected. Jackie persists, even when Bridget arrives, she tries to enlist Bridget in the plan as well. Bridget warns Jackie to let it go and stay out of the entire situation. Jackie does not heed the warning.

I am sooo tired of everyone trying to get brooke to be the "w***e" Taylor has been with : Ridge, Thorne, Eric, Dante, James, Omar, Nick, Stephen so she has been through the same guys almost as brooke I mean even Brookes father?!?!? The only person she hasn't been with is Storm.... but give it a few more episodes.... And when she is accusing Brooke of marrying her ex husband, well Taylor got married to Nick didn't she????? That is Brookes ex. I do hope, Nick and Brooke end up together, and I do think Taylor is getting on with someone else, why not Storm.... then she has not only been through all of the Forrester men, she's been through all of the Logans as well (can you tell I am NOT a fan of Taylor and her goodie twoshoe image...) |

But I hope to offer a very simple and very wrong expalnation or answer to your question about why Brooke is always made out to be the "w***e" First of all we have to remeber this is daytime and the daytime drama that has the least characters, so i am surprised that each lady has managed to make as many rounds as they have. But what sets brooke aside from Taylor is the fact that Brooke gets whom she wants but it is never good enough, she wants a man she can't have. Now and always. As soon as Brooke lands the supposed love of her life, she sets her sights on another woman's man. She is ungrateful for the love she has been given, many times over. To the best of my memory and recollection Taylor slept with James on an airplane just before it crashed some years ago, suddenly producing Thomas who the show pa*ses off as Ridge's. They have never acknowledged this fact. Taylor was being hounded by Brooke, or Ridge was being hounded by brooke with absolutly no regard to the marriage Ridge was in and committed to. Brooke has no regard for any one except herself to include her children. It is unfortunate that the character of Brooke is such a loose, careless, flake of a woman because her portrayer Katherine kelly Lang has been married for years and acts nothing like her alter ego. All in all it comes back to the show it self. maybe we wouldn't see so much of Brooke and taylor and their ongoing antics if B&B would bring new characters in or give storylines over to other characters that has good potentiial. Thorne and felicia are great but we never see them except to support Ridge and Brooke. It is my opinion rather than rerunnong the feelings between Nick and Brooke a lady from his past should have come to town to claim Nick, he was a sailor with many ports after all. And for the short term of what is already on the smallscreen, I'm still not convinced that it won't come out that Bridget is the mother of Jack rather than brooke. they ran a snap test and had results in a matter of minutes and it was the maternal DNA strands that matched enough to make a match. I did like Nick and Bridget better together than him and Taylor or Brooke despite the age difference. |
