Soapdom has just learned that The Bold and the Beautiful executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, and his wife Colleen, are the co-hosts of a major big ticket Los Angeles fundraiser for President Barack Obama.
Tickets for the event are set to cost $35,800 per person for dinner. Reportedly, there is to be a concert on the lawn prior to dinner (acts to be announced), with those tickets a paultry $250 each.
Comedian Will Ferrell and his wife are set t co-host this event.
According to the Hollywood Reporter (the publication was able to score an invitation to the event), Bell's wife, Colleen is a writer and "one of Obama's top Hollywood 'bundlers.'"
So, how many of Hollywood's elite will join the party at the Bells? Wonder if any Bold and the Beautiful stars will attend. The success of the fundraiser will prove to be an important test of Obama support in LaLa land.
THR speculates that studio execs are disgruntled because of Obama's opposition to SOPA (not soap) and may stay away, but a fair showing of other members of the entertainment community is expected.
