It's Valentine's Day and love is in the air. Not sure what to get that special girl or guy? Soapdom's got a few ideas.

First up, flowers and candy are like pizza. Some are better than others, but it's never bad. Get the one you love chocolates and flowers. If you're really serious about someone, long-stemmed red roses melt any heart. And yes, it's tradition for the guy to give them to the girl, but who says we have to stick with tradition? All you ladies out there, why not bend the rules. Give that special guy a dozen roses!  But that's not all we suggest...

As you're settling in to enjoy the sweets and flowers together, how about getting into some romance on screen? Soapdom suggests these DVDs. Disney's Geek Charming for tweens with crushes and teens in love, and What Happens Next for the adults.

Geek Charming

In Disney's "Geek Charming," we meet Dylan Schoenfield (Sarah Hyland from ABC's "Modern Family"), Woodland Academy's top girl. She accidently drops her expensive "it" handbag into the mall fountain and is surprised when film geek, Josh Rosen (Matt Prokop, High School Musical 3: Senior Year), retrieves it for her. In exchange for rescuing her bag, Dylan must agree to be the subject of Josh's documentary film. An opportunist, Dylan hopes the film will help her campaign for Blossom Queen. She claims that winning is her only life goal. Meantime, Josh plans to make a hard-hitting expose about popularity, but as he gets to know Dylan (and falls in love with her?), he learns that the real Dylan is much more interesting than the persona she's created. At the last minute, Josh decides that the film should introduce this awesome girl to the world, but how will Dylan react when she sees it?

Hyland shines as Dylan. Prokop couldn't be more dashing as Josh. We can't help but root for the underdog, and are surprised by this unlikely relationship. It's fun and funny, and a good bet for Valentine's Day.

The DVD collection, which was released February 7, also includes 10 episodes of the Disney Channel smash hit, "Shake It Up." It's over five hours of content! It's available on Amazon.com. Suggested retail for the 2-disc set is $26.99.

What  Happens Next

Here's the set up: After rich business man Paul Greco (Lindstrom) is forced into early retirement, his imperious sister Elise (Malick) tries to get him to settle down with the woman of her choosing.
