At 12:30 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, cast and crew of Days of our Lives gathered on stage to celebrate the monumental 40th anniversary of Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) on the soap opera. There was a huge cake, and scores of well-wishers.
Rogers was escorted onto the stage by none other than series executive producer, Ken Corday. And everyone did their part to keep the celebration hush hush.
It was a true surprise for Rogers and she was thoroughly tickled pink.
Below are some of our favorite moments. Oh and just to prove that Days of our Lives is continuing in its rather recent vein of taping shows far in advance, you can see that holiday decorations abound in Horton Town Square and we haven't even gotten to Labor Day yet!
